Eligibility Criteria of Canada YCP Program
To be eligible for the Yukon Community Pilot Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Offers of Employment: Candidates must secure job offers from up to three different employers within a participating Yukon community.
- Position(s): Each job offer must provide at least 30 hours of work per week and be non-seasonal. The jobs can be from one or multiple employers within one or more Yukon communities.
- Community Endorsement: Applicants need to obtain a signed letter of support from the local community where the jobs are based.
Application Process of Canada YCP Program
- Secure Job Offers: Obtain job offers from up to three employers located within the same participating community in Yukon.
- Community Endorsement: Acquire a recommendation letter from the local community.
- Submit Application: Apply for a two-year open work permit through the IRCC portal.
- Work and Integrate: Upon approval, you can start your employment and smoothly integrate into the local community. The Yukon Community Pilot Program provides support to help you settle in, build connections, and thrive in your new environment, ensuring a successful transition into life in the Yukon.
